MUNICIPALITY OF MACHIN
-Eagle River-Minnitaki-Vermilion Bay-

The Municipality of Machin is located in the heart of Sunset Country in Northwestern Ontario, Canada.

Vermilion Bay is located 304 miles east of Winnipeg, Manitoba on the Trans Canada Hwy. Only 40 miles east of Machin is the growing city of Dryden, Ontario.

If you are travelling from the United States you can get to this area two different ways: a) from the border crossing in Fort Frances and travel north on Hwy. 502 for 190 miles to Dryden, there you turn west on to Hwy. 17 for 40 miles until you reach Vermilion Bay. OR b) Follow Hwy. 502 from Fort Frances until you reach Hwy. 594, turn west and follow Hwy. 594 through Eagle River, Waldhof and ending up in Vermilion Bay.
